The Salem Witch Trials.

One of the most intriguing and discussed Witch hunts and trials of all time occurred in Salem Massachusetts in the United States in 1692. It was on Gallows Hill, in Salem Village, in a matter of 9 months, that 19 men and women were hanged as witches or wizards. It all started with 2 little girls acting suspicious.

A chronology of events is located here for your viewing pleasure.
