The new beginning!

After our introductory pool session, all 5 of us decided to book in to do our Open Water SCUBA course. Pro Dive were having a 2 for 1 deal as it was coming up to winter, so we all showed up and met our instructor Rod. We were also introduced to Ivy and Rebecca, a couple of very nice young ladies who were also doing the course with us. Right from the start, I knew this course was going to be fun as well as a learning curve. We all just seemed to get along straight away. I didn't get any pictures on day 1 of the course, so, I start the pics on day 2.

Melinda and I showed up at about 8AM for a 9AM start. (I can't help myself, I am ALWAYS early for EVERYTHING!) I think Melinda was a tad tired on this day..

Half way through day 2, we had our exam. We needed 38 out of 50 to pass. Stupid me got the first question wrong as I didn't read the entire question. DOH! Then I got another one wrong when I had the correct answer in my head, but ticked the wrong box. Still, I did get 46/50, so I passed :)
